One designer is also an interior designer. Three designers have Genesis 3 University Gold Pool Design certification and are pursuing the coveted Society of Water-shape Professional, an elite designation. This ISO achievement gives our clients an assurance that their pools will be designed and built to high quality standards. Gib-San Pools’ commitment to leadership in quality and professional business method is engrained in the company culture as typified by Gib-San’s commitment to be the first pool company in the world to achieve certification of three internationally recognized ISO professional management operating standards.

In 2004 Gib-San achieved ISO9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certification. Systems ensure proper flow of information with methods for continual improvement to enhance both quality and efficiency.
In 2006 Gib-San achieved ISO18002:2007 Occupational Health and Safety certification. These systems pertain to operating procedures and their impact on the well being of employees and clients.
In 2012 Gib-San achieved ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems certification. This is a commitment to environmental management and ways to achieve continual improvements in reducing waste and recycling materials where appropriate.

Progressive construction techniques
Gib-San’s experience of over the past 40 years has been the basis for the underlying added quality and craftsmanship of a Gib-San built pool. Here are just a couple of the many critical differences in the quality of a Gib-San built pool. The first is the use of the Shotcrete method of applying sprayed concrete to the pool. Shotcrete uses premixed concrete for greater control on both the mix specifications and its consistency. And unlike the Gunite process, we add an aggregate to the mix for added strength. Even our vinyl pools have Shotcrete concrete floors for greater durability and strength.
Another feature of a Gib-San pool, is the use of rigid PVC pipe for better flow. This is used even below grade where they are encased in concrete on concrete pools to reduce the risk of damaged during construction and provide greater durability over time.

Our professional team is our strength – Our best investment is in our one hundred and fifty employees. At Gib-San we do installations year-round with techniques for winter weather challenges. This enables us to retain more full-time personnel with their professional expertise for year-round continuity of quality. Both full and seasonal employees are trained in the latest technology and techniques using industry educational and in-house training programs. Managers also take technical, project management and lifestyle-balance courses to ensure they have the skills to do the job right.
