Pool & Spa Awards
Gib-San benchmarks its creative work against its peers in Canada, the United States other countries around the world by entering industry association competitions, and has for more than four decades. Many of the pools in the Photo Gallery are award winners. Drop by for a look.
Top winner at International Awards of Excellence
Gib-San Pools received the top award at the Master Pools Guild 2007 International Awards of Excellence contest. The same pool project also received the Special Design Award in The Art of Water competition for pool builders across Canada sponsored by Pools & Spa Marketing magazine. The winning pool was built on the island of St. Maarten. At 5000 sq. ft. it is one of largest residential pools in the world and includes such features as two spas, a children’s water-jet play section, a grotto and slide mountain, and underwater speakers. The huge vanishing edge makes it look like one with the sea. Gib-San has the expertise of designing and installing estate pools in distant locations.

The Industry Achievement Award was presented to Ed Gibbs, President of Gib-San Pools by Phil Bach, President of the Pool and Hot Tub Council of Canada at the 2011 industry annual convention. This award recognizes individuals who have exhibited leadership and exceptional achievement in the industry. Ed is a Past President of the Pool and Hot Tub Council of Canada, and contributed significantly to its re-energized direction and addressing significant regulatory issues. He is also a Past Chairman of the Master Pools Guild, an international network of elite custom pool builders. Ed is continually driving Gib-San Pools to be the leader in both product quality and management processes as exhibited by his vision and drive to have Gib-San Pools be the first company in the world to achieve ISO Quality Management Certification and Health and Safety Certification. |
