Master Pools Guild
Gib-San is a member of the Master Pools Guild, a global network of over one hundred elite custom pool builders committed to building the finest pools in the world. Members share creative ideas, construction techniques and technology in their quest to be the best industry leaders.
Only those builders with a reputation for being leaders their regions, with superior design and building standards, are invited to join. Gib-San became a member in the early 1980s, and has taken an active role since. In 2005, Ed Gibbs, President of Gib-San was elected to the board, becoming Chairman for 2006. He made a significant contribution to the Guild with initiatives that improved membership communications and revitalized its brand marketing. These resulted in advertising and editorials in Architectural Digest and Robb Report magazines as well as Frontgate catalog.

Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada
Gib-San Pools Ltd. is a member of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada, an industry organization committed to improving the Canadian aquatic leisure industry for businesses and consumers alike. Association members consist of builders and contractors, retailers, service providers, manufacturers and distributors of swimming pools, hot tubs and water feature products.
Gib-San has a long history of working on association committees for the betterment of the industry. Ed Gibbs is President of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada for 2008. Peter Friis, Vice President of Gib-San, is on the Toronto Chapter board. |
