In its almost fifty years of operation Gib-San has created backyard resorts from Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Caledon and even to Muskoka.  Edward D. Gibbs, President and CEO of Gib-San is recognized as a leader in the international pool industry. In 2011 Ed was presented with the Industry Achievement Award by the Pool and Hot Tub Council of Canada. This award recognizes individuals who have exhibited exceptional achievement and leadership in the industry.
Ed is a Past President of the Pool and Hot Tub Council of Canada, contributing significantly to its re-energized direction while addressing significant regulatory challenges. Ed is also a Past Chairman of the Master Pools Guild, an international network of elite custom pool builders where he spearheaded a rebranding of the Guild.
His leadership skills are most evident at Gib-San Pools where he continually strives for leading performance in both product quality and management processes. To achieve this vision, he invests heavily in employee training and the pursuit of world class systems. Gib-San was the first pool company in the world to achieve ISO Certifications in: Quality Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Protection.
 Peter Friis, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Peter manages the construction and service management teams. He has been a major contributor to Gib-San’s high quality standards and growth in his 20 years with the company. In keeping with the Gib-San commitment to help the industry grow, Peter served on the board of directors of the Pool & Hot Tub Council of Canada Toronto chapter and has been judging chairman for the Master Pools Guild Awards of Excellence contest.
